All cat information, daily records, photos, and other content you enter in the app are stored fully on your iPhone and are not sent anywhere over the network.
We do not operate our own server or backend system for receiving user data.

Answer: nothing.
- We do not collect your name, email address, or contact details
- We do not collect device identifiers such as IDFA or IDFV
- We do not collect location data
- We do not collect usage behavior or analytics data
- We do not integrate third-party analytics SDKs such as Firebase or Mixpanel
- We do not use ad tracking
π±App Permissions
PurrJournal may request the following system permissions, and each permission is used only for features you explicitly use:

| Notifications | Send feeding, medication, and care reminders you configure. You can turn this off in system settings at any time. It is not used for marketing. |
| Photos / Photo Library | Choose cat avatar images. Selected images are stored only in the local database and are not uploaded. |
If you deny a permission, the related feature will be unavailable, but other features will continue to work.
πΎData Storage and Security
- All data is stored locally on device using Apple's Core Data framework
- Data is protected by the device file system encryption, enabled automatically when an iOS passcode is used
- If iCloud Backup is enabled, app data may be included in your iCloud backup; Apple manages the security of that backup
- You can export complete data through Settings β Export Data and restore it on a new device through Import Data
- Deleting the app permanently deletes all local app data

PurrJournaldoes not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or social network SDKsγ
The only external systems involved are Apple's own platform services, including:
- Apple Push Notification service (APNs) β used for notification delivery and not routed through third-party servers
- App Store β used for app distribution and subject to Apple's privacy policy
πΆChildren's Privacy
PurrJournal is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect children's personal information. Since the app does not collect any data, this is naturally satisfied.
